A graduate of both Boston College and Boston College Law School, Bob is a co-founder of Devin, Barry & Austin, P.C.
Prior to entering private practice in 1974, after working as a staff attorney for the Boston Redevelopment Authority, Bob headed the in-house legal department for two publicly traded corporations, their subsidiaries and affiliates. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Plymouth County.
His practice concentrates on business, corporate, real estate and land use law. He has extensive experience in land use and permitting matters, including state and local permitting. A particular emphasis of Bob's practice is on affordable housing development.
Bob has served as a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Fee Arbitration Board and as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

Lauren Barry has practiced law on the South Shore for over fifteen years, and is a co-founder of Devin, Barry & Austin, PC. Prior to starting Devin, Barry & Austin, P.C., Lauren worked as an Associate at two South Shore law firms where she was exposed to many areas of the law.
At Devin, Barry & Austin, P.C., Lauren's practice focuses primarily on estate planning, trust administration and probate matters. She also represents individuals and business clients in general business matters and real estate transactions.
Lauren graduated from Suffolk University Law School, cum laude, in 1995, and from Boston College, cum laude, in 1992.
Lauren lives with her husband and family in Hingham, Massachusetts.
